I think we can write whole complete books on some quotes of Tajik/Persian personalities which are only one or two sentences.

Mavlana Balkhi Quotes:

“The minute I heard my first love story I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along.”

“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.”

“You were born with wings. Why prefer to crawl through life?”

“I died a mineral, and became a plant. I died a plant and rose an animal. I died an animal and I was man. Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?”

''Silence is the language of God, all else is poor translation.”

“Water in the boat is the ruin of the boat, but water under the boat is its support.”

“Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart.”
(I am made to re-educate many people...and clean the dirty ones from society, anyway the love for it is definetly in my heart and mind). :D

Feel free to add quotes in this topic.
To be continued....

Quotes from Hazor Sukhan:

Sukhane doshta bosh dilpazir, yo dile doshta posh sukhanpazir.

Ozodi vakhte ast ki ikhtiyori mo ba dasti akhl boshad.

Mard sher astu zan sherbon, Nigohdorii sher az sher budan dushvor tarast.

Bihishti in dunyo ishkh astu vafodori.
