Interesting picture. It showes a Pashtun (the standing brown guy with beard), maybe a Pakistani one, and maybe a member of the Taliban, in Herat. Now tell me Shinno, aren´t Aughans immigrants and gypsis in Herat?

Why does every thread turn into Afghan this and that. Pashtuns have as much right as anyone else in Afghanistan to settle in Herat and tajiks also have the right to settle anywhere within afghanistan as long as they don't steal someone elses land. What do you mean by gypsies. Is it ok for me to call the tajiks in peshawar gypsies or you in germany a gypsie. Come on man grow up. Without respect there is going to be no respect. If you want to bash some leaders who have ruined the lives of tajiks then i am more than happy to condemn them but do not apply this mentality to all of us.
Insulting and calling names is sign of weakness, frustration and illetrate person. You call afghan gypsie, he will call you bache saqaw and so on, what is that going to achieve. You have the right to retaliate if anybody calls you or your nation something obscene but why start some silly argument for no reason.
Afghans especially Abdalis have been present in Herat for at least 250 years and many were brought there by the safawids to rule Herat. It was the safawids who supported them against the ghilzai pashtuns and put them in powerful positions. Maybe the safawids liked them and encouraged their migration to Herat. It is not the Afghans fault they are in Herat.
Many kurds were brought by Nader Afshar to northern Khorassan from kurdistan so should they all leave now and return to kurdistan. What about the georgians of isfahan and some of the uzbeks of northern afghanistan? Should they all return to where ever they came from. Should the hazaras go back to mongolia. This kind of mentality will achieve nothing. I know some idiotic pashtuns can be quite silly by calling tajiks and other imigrants in afghanistan but this shouldn't be coming from some one else who know better.

Thanks for the nice photos of Herat. It's my favourite city in Afghanistan. I'm very happy for people of Herat to see how nice their city looks and hopefully will become the most advanced city in Afghanistan. Its proximity to Mashhad, Serakhs and Merv will surely boost up its commerce and economy. Actually Mashhad(Iran),Herat(Afghanistan),Merv(Turkmenistan) share a lot of common history, it's a pity these 3 cities now lie in 3 different countries.

I'm glad you guys liked the photos. Herat indeed is a beatiful city and was rightfully called the pearl of khurasan. When peace and stability return to Afghanistan i hope iranian and tajik tourists visit the city and appreciate the beauty of this city as much as the Heratis enjoy it. Don't forget you guys can post pictures of beautiful cities like esfahan and isfara and maybe we can learn about them little by little and enjoy the beauty. Don't be shy people, don't keep it to yourselves.
