You can choose from these Tajik names for your future newborns. :)

When I was in Khorasan (Afgh-n), unfortunatly, I did not hear any Tajik name. It seemed that all names of Tajiks of Khorasan are Arabian.

I think that all children of Khorasan should have beautiful and proud Tajik names, not arabian or turkish names.

It could be very nice if one of you took the initiative and compiled a small book with the title of "Tajik Names" with short explanations of each name.

I think you will find a lot of buyers and your contribution to your own nation.
What do you think? or is there such books?

Why our writers can write about profet's wives and cannot about Tajik names?

Yes, you are correct. Hamaasa and Nedaa are both Arabic names. In addition to those, the following names are Arabic or have non-Persian origins:

Asal Honey
Khotira Memory
Marjon Coral
Marmar Marble
Nasrin A kind of flower (This is arabic whereas Nastaran is Persian)
Sahar Dawn
Shamim Breeze
Sharora Sparks or flames of fire
Shuhob Shooting star or meteor

--

These are just at a glance.. I would love to work on a list that has more accurate translations as well.

I would love to. I wouldn't even charge for it as long as it encouraged people to give their babies Persian names!

It's amazing that even with my eyeglasses I couldn't see most of the named you've mentioned in the list. Of course, I found, Asal (arabic) and Shuhob (arabic)... But that's it I guess.

Anyway, there are a few arabic names in the list, yeah. But as far as I know Nasrin and Marjan are Persian. Marmar is Greek as well as Morwared and Sepehr.

I don't think it is exclusively a Greek word. I believe it is an Indo-European cognate that exists in many languages..

You might be right. But that's what I read in an Orientalist's book where he mentions Morwared (Margarita), Sepehr (sphere), Narges (Narciss) and some other words as Greek borrowings in Pahlavi. Alongside with 'Paradise' (pardis) which is a Persian borrowing in Greek.

Maryam is derived from Mary, so I read. But there are some (arabic) sources which had mentioned, that these two are various names..
