One is in Persian which is updated frequently and the other is in Persian (Cyrillic). Additionally, the English page is still running and has a vast amount of information on Tajiks and Persians.

I think you have answered your question. I don't think there is any true Persian meaning for Maryam. Maryam is just Persianized version of Mary. As for Mary, you have already elaborated about it.

Why curious about Maryam? Is your real name Maryam? Hmmm,

Mahasti = Being like the moon or Someone from the moon.
It's from the same category as:
Mahsheed= Moon, moonlight
MahsA = Like the moon
MahtA = Moon-like
MahtAb = Moonlight

Edit: According to my father, the actual meaning of Mahasty Could be Royahi, a dreamgirl

Raamin means 'peaceful' (derives from 'raam', 'aaraam')
Rooyin - 'strong' (derives from 'ruy' for 'zink')
