But in my case it was because some people found my name offensive, and I had second thoughts about being clownish about my nickname - it started as a kind of joke. What was wrong with Darius ?

I think you have the privilege to do that, because as far as I know you are one of admin right? Admins have full right to rename whatever they want. So, it should not be difficult for you to do that. It's probably around "settings". Well, it would be interesting to see what would be your name. Time will show up.

If you are not one of admins, then I assume you have to contact one of admins here (Superior, Khorasani, Admin, Gul Agha) to assist you with changing your name. I have looked up in "my profile" and there is no way to change your name, if you don't have admins privileges. Anyhow, give it a try and see if that works. :)

yea, i need to contact them. I think it was much better if they had given us the facility of changing our nammes if we wanted to do so.

I don't think it would be a good idea to give everybody right to change his/her name whenever he/she wants to. Because it will create further confusion and we will have difficulties with "who said what". Yes, it might be good idea to give to old members :) hahahah. Just kidding. No, it's better to contact with admins concerning these issues with change names and stuff like that.

And I think there should be a poster or short announcement about "name change" of each member just for couple days, to let others know that certain member has changed his name. Just another suggestion.
