Marriage and Tajiks

Is anyone here married? Did you marry a Tajik? Does anyone here plan on marrying a Tajik?
The more Tajik guys I meet.. the more the prospects of me marrying a Tajik lessen. Honestly, why are so many of them creepy, or "players", or just plain jerks!? And the good ones, why are they always taken? ;_;
Sorry, this is just kind of a rant. I understand it goes for guys of every ethnic background but still... This is probably why I will end up marrying a non-Tajik.
That's true. But if these are the things you care about, then you should be able to marry an American guy.
That is not always true. I am a college-educated, MBA students, kind, handsome, go in for sports, and so forth and will marry a Tajik girl after graduating and returning to Tajikistan.
So, it just a pity that we did not meet each other..
....or..maybe it is still not too late...(?)..

When I said" that's true", I was agree with the things she mentioned about girls wanting from boys.

Do not do it, dokhtar...
I am sure, that 99% Tajik boys dream to marry the Tajik girl. And you too will be soon found by your prince. It is a pity, that I already married, if I was not married, I would try to win your heart.

Maybe you only had bad luck. However, I am sure there are plenty of good Tajiks that you are not aware of. Anyhow, generalization in this regard would be completely wrong.
Dushanbe, are you saying that no education, mean, unfunny, and ugly are traits that girls find attractive? Lol....
Because I get along better with American guys rather than Tajik guys :
No, I am not saying that. But "some" girls like that.

Although, I think marriage is private responsibility of every individual and every individual is free whatever choice he/she makes. Yet, personally I think I will marry Persian girl (CA Persian (Tajik), Irani, Khorasani dokhtar), if I will be lucky enough to live that day.
I do agree with RK that it will have significant impact on preserving our culture and identity so in future we can pass it to our children and grandchildren.

The reason why you get along better with American guys, could be because you share the same culture. Or you live in two difference cultures, one of them with quite stringent rules and lots of influence of the religion Islam. So it's not very unrealistic that you get along much easier with the one with an American culture. (a free culture).

Living in a foreign country makes it difficult to be choosy, when it comes to selecting your compatriot husband. You can't call this, her badluck, if she didn't meet the right one yet. There's a small chance of opportunities to meet these guys (girls), and not forget to mention, most of them have a poor image of tajik girls, who are living in the western part.

You would be right if she was from Tajikistan or Afghanistan, but she is originally from Iran, or has major relatives in Iran, as far as I know. So, in this case, it's about luck. But as I mentioned, there are many good CA Persians abroad and at home and surely some of them here in this forum.
