One is in Persian which is updated frequently and the other is in Persian (Cyrillic). Additionally, the English page is still running and has a vast amount of information on Tajiks and Persians.

What is the origin of tajiks in Afghanistan and how do Tajiks from Tajikistan differ from them?

It seems dubious to me that the Tajiks from Afghanistan were from contemporary Tajikistan however I possess little knowledge about the matter but my skepticism is based on population sizes of tajiks in Afghanistan and in Tajikistan. Also what is the extent of difference between tajiki and dari?

Tajik population in Tajikistan - over 4.2 Million (http://www.mapsofworld.com/tajikistan/geography/population.html)- 67% of over 6.25 million
Tajik population in Afghanistan - over 10 Million estimated (various sources)

Im reluctant to believe in the pigtoon claim on Tajiks being 'immigrants' in Afghanistan.

According to Britannica the Tajiks have been indigenous to northern Afghanistan.

I had always thought the tajiks came to Afghanistan via the samanids, but if the Tajiks are descendents of the Bactrians why are pashtuns asserted as being descendents of bactrians? Surely we arent related with them

Persian5,

The Tajiks of Afghanistan are the indigenous people. They did not come from Tajikistan or any other region. Their ancestors are Indo-Iranian Bactrians, Soghdians, Sakas, Persians, Parthians, Medians who resided in Khorasan (Modern Afghanistan, Tajikistan Turkmenistan Uzbekistan and eastern Iran). All other ethni groups in Afghanistan migrated in what is known as Afghanistan today after the 16th century and Tajiks from the southern and eastern parts migrated northwards when Pashtuns invaded their lands.

Tajiki and Dari are political terms made up by non-Tajiks. The language of the Tajiks is Persian and they are the true keepers of this language since they started the revival of this culture and language in Khorasan after the Arab invasion.

Because that claim was fabricated by the Pushtun thief Abdul Hai Habibi in his Pota Khazana. And since Pushtuns were giving the way of education, history and who is who in Kharistan e Pushtun, the also claimed on Bactrians. One point was that that Pushtu is considered, tough and actually a Bastard language with roots in nearly all languages of Central Asia, including Dravidic and altayic ones, as an eastern-Iranian language and Bactrians were among the most noblest and those with the most rich ones and they lived also inside modern Afghanistan. It wouldn´t make sense if they even would claim on Sogdians or Sistanis or on Gandhara, because they lay outside of Kharistan e Pushtun and like Gandhara are connected with Pakistan. However, Bactrians were civilization people, not hostile and nomadic Ahrimanian Ghoolams. It´s just policy created by dogs for uneducated dogs who believe every shit since they are the most dumbest people on earth who only know wahabism and tribalism, along homosexuality and slavery. Uneducated people are like children. They believe everything you tell them.
