One is in Persian which is updated frequently and the other is in Persian (Cyrillic). Additionally, the English page is still running and has a vast amount of information on Tajiks and Persians.

Yes, the song is a Persian song from Tajikistan but the maker of the video seems to be an idiot. Why didn´t he take some pictures of blue-eyed Mongols, Turks, Jews, north-Arabs and called them too as ''Iranians''. According to his video 95% of modern Iranians are not Iranians because they have not coloured eyes and hairs. Wannabe Iranians...

Its most probably a Tajik song, i tried searching for it by typing its lyrics (in the perso-arabic script) into google but it was fruitless

The trick might be to google its lyrics in Cyrillic

PS. the video itself is a travesty; im utterly disgusted by all the videos that cherry-pick for pictures of europid individuals.
what came upon the cheshm-siah saaqis of Hafez and Sa'adi?
هیچ وقت به خدا نگو یه مشکل بزرگ دارم
به مشکل بگو من یه خدای بزرگ دارم

Go tell the wolves that although the father has been killed,
The father's gun is with us still
Tell them that although all the men of the tribe have been killed,
There is a young boy in the cradle still

I Agree with you both. Seems like the guy behind the video is trying too hard to convince westerners that persians and/ or iranic people are "white". We come in different shape and colours, so he should rather focus on the culture and language we share. But I loved that song.

If you mean ''white'' by race than yes, Iranians belong to the ''white race'' (Iranid; corded-nordic, between mediterranian and scandinavian people). As members of the Caucasian families (f.e. Oxford University describe the ''white race'' as Caucasian) they belong to the same greater Indo-germanic speakers as majority of the world population belong. Iranians with coloured eyes and hairs have either Tocharian ancestory (specially during the Mongol conquest Iranians from Central Asia (Choresmia f.e.) fled to the southern regions and sought security in Iran, Iraq, India, Afghanistan, Turkey) or by chance. The probility of getting a child in a family where all members have dark hairs and/or eyes takes 2%-4% (among Indo-germanic speaking people). A result of genetical mutations that possibly took place around 15 000 years ago. As much a nation has a high population the rate of such individuals is high. For ex. in a country with 80mio. people the number of individuals with coloured eyes or hairs can be between 350 000 and 500 000
