Everytime I think about this thread i cringe
I came online to delete my posts but it appears that its not possible to edit posts after a certain period of time.
I regret everything i said about turkmen. I broke bread with these people, they held a hand out to me whenever I fell, they were and are my friends. When i lie down to sleep, i have been seeing their faces over the past few days. I have seen nothing but kindness from them and yet i insulted them. if thats not bisharaf then i dont what is. I have a wretched temper that has put me in trouble in the past and will take me straight to hell.

I have let it get the better of me on this very forum in the way i have talked about Indians, Pashtuns, Uzbeks etc. But with turkmen its different because i have lived with them and i dont know how i will look at them in the face again.

They are good muslims and they are honest hardworking people. Times have not been good to them since the Qajar and afshar arrived in khorasan but all that happens is god's will. we won because they were the arrogant ones and we were god-fearing humble barely clothed sufis from ardabil. Now we have become arrogant and many of the westernized ones amongs us have lost their faith; now they are the humble muslims. tobeh
