From the viewpoint of people who want Khorasan state this may not be bad, because if the Taliban overrun US forces badly they will be more likely to go for the Blackwell plan to partition Afghanistan.

These are the comments of someone who had never been in military or having regional and political knowledge about the current situation. Mr. Gutenberg became only defense ministre because of his famous ancestor Otto von Bismarck and thus his higher noble origine, the prime ministre of Germany. The troups are there to fight. It does not make anything if the fights take over or not. In winter, the insurgents and terrorists in general are more active than in warmer times.
