The opposition leaders of the Green Movement in Iran have scheduled demonstrations to be held in solidarity with the people of Egypt and Tunisia, for the revival of the Green Movement on Monday February 14th, corresponding to the 25th of Bahman, at 3PM local time. Here is the Facebook page for the event. Once again, a sea of green will roar the will of the Iranian people across all major Iranian cities! On Valentine's Day, the day of love, Iranians will stand together for the love for their country, and their love for all people across the world who stand up against dictators and demand freedom. Spread the word, and stay tuned! =)

Despite Facebook being blocked in Iran, the Facebook-page for the event currently has 30 000 members, and more are joining by the minute. In addition, people are advertising it heavily in the streets of Iran too, and texting each other (mobile) to spread the word. I think 100 000 is absolutely within reach.

If there are many enough the security forces will be powerless.

Iran is neither Egypt nor Tunisia

We will shoot traitors on the spot and their blood will be on the hands of the provocateurs who concoct these riots
Do you think 125,000 sepahi pasdars are just gonna stand around like the Egyptian military?

Tell your pals to stay home

I know you will. But we are more in number than you. As your own Khomeini said: revolutions take blood. We are prepared to die.

Come wearing your kafaans because we are not joking around anymore

This time its not gonna be a few basijis; its gonna be pasdars and tanks.

How brave of you, you are sitting in the West and inciting others to violence.
I doubt you will be in Tehran to wipe their brains off the sidewalks when the hammer comes down.

This time we are going to unleash Hassan Firouzabadi and General Ali Reza Afshar. It wont be like last time where we let you run around for a few months.

While you were sitting in the west sipping alcohol, the pasdaran were trying to stop US warships with speedboats.
This is not your country; this is our country.

Qizilbash aziz so are you content with the current regime that is constantly helping and promoting Arabs instead of Persians and other Iranians?

Gul agha gerami, you are correct that there are some problems with the system but that does not mean that we should tear down the whole system in order to fix a few problems.

Believe me when I tell you that this government is government that has the interests of the persian people in
mind. We have been using Islam as an excuse for persianization since the very beginning.
We have been using the Arabs to gainnleverage in the region and for no other reason.

Then why not protect Persian-speakers first who are being Uzbekized and Afghanized in the East. I know what you are talking about but we should liberate our own Persians first before we Persianize others.

Arash, if people come out in huge numbers and stay over night this could be the beggining of the end for the regime. Maybe by norouz the regime will be gone.

This young girl says "During my stay in Iran, I discovered that dictatorship can have several forms. In Tunisia (her country) it was in a secular form. People were not allowed to practice their religion the way they wanted. Women were not allowed to wear the hijab. But in your country, it is the opposite. Dictatorship has a religious form. For example, women are forced to wear the hijab. So if you look at the two systems, you might think first that they are different, but they're the same. It's both dictatorship, and violation of each person's freedom to choose, to decide for himself or herself."

She has understood during her short visit to Iran what Qizilbash has not understood in an entire lifetime. I feel sorry for your kind, Qizilbash. And the paradoxical thing is: if we are victorious, we will give people like you the right you never gave us, we will let people like you continue to live as they choose, because unlike you, we believe Iran is for ALL Iranians.

Dear people,

before htting eachother´s head you need first to walt toward a conclussion that both side accepts. Sit down and talk about your worries and see where you can co-working and where not. The current regime in Iran have it´s positive and negative sides. The negative sides are present in nearly all medias. Killing or imprisoning of raped and innocent women instead of the guilty one, sharp punishments against small ''crimes'', threaten journalists, controlling the medias etc. The positive side is they fight against drugs, criminalism as whole, the imperialists and capitalists, they have established the most intelligent heads in the entire ME, their system is working, the country have a strong defense ministry and is aware of it´s outside enemies and many other points. The only solution is to sit and discuss all the problems with eachother. Iran is not Tunesia or Eghypt. Iran has another mentality. Since the palavi era, the country´s regim have adoptet a religous-military mentality. By going out to the streets you will just bring more damages to the poor and innocent people. Iran´s gov is hard that even US can not break it. A change have to come from the system self, not from the population. The population have not the strenght.
