My father and mother are both immigrants to the United States from Khujand, and I was born in America. Even though we tried to speak Tajik at home it didn't work out very well, and now I know a very basic conversational level (like...a seven year old, maybe.) The saddest part is that I'm the best out of all three children. Every time we went back to Khujand to visit family I felt really bad because I couldn't speak Tajik as well as I really should be able to. Right now I'm on an exchange trip to Taiwan until June or July, so there isn't really the option of speaking to them in Tajik...and even whenever we do decide to, it just becomes easier to use English since everyone is fluent in it. But I want to know, are there any podcasts/softwares/vocabulary lists I could study until I can get back to them? If it helps, I can read Cyrillic as well...
Thanks so much.
