because of the strong and superiour culture and language. When Mongls took power in India and Sindh they also influenced the Awghans by kidnapping some their children to their court (Khushal Khan Khatak f.e.) and teached them how to live like a human, how to eat like a human, speaking their language, learning from other cultures ... From that time some subgroups or the main tribes adoptet Tajik names like Durani while they had before either an arab, jewish or a turkish name. Such names are still existing among Tajiks as surnames.
