One is in Persian which is updated frequently and the other is in Persian (Cyrillic). Additionally, the English page is still running and has a vast amount of information on Tajiks and Persians.

There are many wacky sites dreaming about things that never exist. Academically, Persian is the main language of Afghanistan. Even CIA that backs up your Pashtun government will disappoint you. Look at its figures:

Languages:
Afghan Persian or Dari (official) 50%, Pashto (official) 35%, Turkic languages (primarily Uzbek and Turkmen) 11%, 30 minor languages (primarily Balochi and Pashai) 4%, much bilingualism

Given CIA's biased stance, you can fathom out that the number of Persian-speakers in Afghanistan is even higher than the shown 50%.

You can only dream about that Mr. Darius. Pashto is the language of 63% of Afghans. Yes there are few pashtons in the north that can't speak pashto but we have a lot of pashais, baluchs, hazaras and tajiks that can't speak farsi or their native language.

If you check this site, you will see that they have given you several sources. Now it is up to you if you want to believe them or not, but you should remember that you will never be able to change a fact.

Your own maps of ethnic and linguinstic classification contradict your statement, since areas you show as Pashtun ethnically are shown as Persian speaking on your linguistic map. You can't even see contradictions in your own statements :P

Ghorzang, I'm sure you are totally aware who's dreaming between us two. I am giving you CIA facts (third party) and you are still talking about pan-Pashtun dreams that certainly will never change the fact. Pashto is not among well-developed languages and will disappear one day as many other outdated tongues of the world. I feel sorry for you and your affiliations, but that's where the flow is taking you with your language.

Persian was, is, and will remain the language of the majority in Afghanistan. And Afghanistan, all of it, is a part of the Iranian world. Try to open your eyes wider, if you believe that 'Pashtuns are waking up slowly'. We've been awake for centuries dude and hence the truth should be learnt from us, not from drowsy people who are just trying to wake up.

You guys can dream about the disappearing of our lovely Pashto. You will see how fast Farsi will disappear when US/Israel brings down your Iranian state (If you want to see your future than look at Iraq). Over 50% of Iranians are not Persians but Azeris from Azerbaijan.

Ghorzang, you've been burping out this nonsense for centuries. By 'you' I mean all enemies of Persians. What we see in reality is your nightmare and it's gonna be even spookier for you. So, brace yourself. Let the entire Iran be Azeri. Azeris are Iranian too and thank God, they know it perfectly. We got stupid Iranians like you as well, of course, who are not aware of their past. That's why we've disowned you. And now you are hurt.

Persian has stood up against all of its enemies and has defended itself. the Persian language and Culture destroyed Alexander, the Caliphate, the Mongols and Turks, the English expansionists in Afghanistan and now it is defending itself from uncivilized pailoochs from the Salaiman Mountains.

:D If Israel/US could bring down Iran, they would have already done it - that's why they attacked Iraq, to scare Iran into submission, but their plan backfired and Iran is stronger than ever :P Your Pakistani state is where you will end up and Persians of Afghanistan will have their own state ;)

You are right about the highlighted part "Almost every nation in the world has troops in Afghanistan" and they are still losing it. We are fighting the entire world like real men. We fought Alexander, Mongols, Persians, Arabs, Russians and now it is time to defeat the entire world in our Loy Afghanistan.

WAK foundation - an Afghan Mellati source - and Hewad.com --- are sources used by these peoples - WOW !

Ghorzang - don't waste your time or mislead you fellow Pashtuns with such nonsense. You are acting to recruit them in the games of the people whom do not have the interests of the people of that land wrong called Afghanistan. It will only mean they are going to commit more crimes and end up dying like dog at the end of it.

Show me some historical sources about your claim. When we fought Alexander, Mongols, Arabs etc. you Pashtuns were a part of the Persian army. You had never had your own troops or sovereignty to defend. Russians were driven out by Ahmad Shah Masood while Hekmatyar and your other heroes were enjoying a peaceful life abroad. And Americans were led to the country by Pashtun lackeys like Hamed Karzai and Zalmay Khalilzad.
