One is in Persian which is updated frequently and the other is in Persian (Cyrillic). Additionally, the English page is still running and has a vast amount of information on Tajiks and Persians.

How to clean abnormal developements that Farsi gone through? I mean words that has lost their correct meanings like ''khar'' which actually means ''great'' and not donkey, ''Kafsh''= shoe instead boot, do-charkha instead bycycle. We should work on such issues. How would you solve this problem we have in our language?

Hopefully one day we get rid of these filthy arab words from our language and take back them which we had in first place.

we can and even using middle/old persian words instead of new persian words. Look, Firdousi did it and we can do it, too. We need only to use words from our greater ancestors, Parthians, Bactrians and Sogdians.

the greatest threat for persian as a whole is its different course of direction in 3 different countries, not to mention uzbekistan. this is the main threat in my opinion. assume how much of gap will there be between these 3 places? and see how much of differnce we had a few centuries agao. things dont look good.

The rise of local "slang" dialects (Tehrani, Kabuli, etc.) is a worrisome development but I think the long-term prognosis is bright because the rise of the modern media will allow for the standardization of the various accents and dialect

TV stations like BBC Persian have been tailored for a tri-national Iranian, Afghanistani and Tajikistani audience and these forms of Pan-Persian media will bear fruit in the long run

Yes, the internet, TV is having a positive impact. BBCpersian, both its site and TV is great, but Radios such as VOA is doing nothing but a harm.
