One is in Persian which is updated frequently and the other is in Persian (Cyrillic). Additionally, the English page is still running and has a vast amount of information on Tajiks and Persians.

There is a thread already running on the following topic:

http://www.bbc.co.uk...unishment.shtml

But I want to see what you think about the ways to counter Anti-Persian fascism in Afghanistan? How to appeal against this inhumane decision and put a fullstop to this outrageous fascism?

This is really sad (BBC article). I don't see any hope for Persian-speaking people in Afyiistan ( :D Afyi = serpent with venom), those Pashtuns have always ruled and they are much more violent and will win again in the end. And it is unlikely that Iran will help, one reason being that even Persian-speaking Afyis (most of them) hate Iran more than they hate Pashtuns. Tajiks may survive in Afyistan, but they will never be in power without outside intervention - even that did not last when US came in. The only solution is partition and war to liberate Tajiks, and that seems unlikely.

Darius, what is your opinion. Is there any hope ? Under what scenario can Tajiks be liberated from Afyis ?

You are utterly WRONG. We dont hate the iranians, but criticize them. How can we forget their contribution to the conflict of Hazaras and Tajiks, as a result we are still not recovering from those damages. It was Iranian gov which gave weapon and money to the Hazaras to fight Tajiks. It is always us who consider Iranians our brothers. and you give us a single reason why should we prefer Pushtoons over Iran?

Dudes, put aside your inter-Tajik disputes and think how to fight the Pashtun fascism which is threatening the very existence of the Persian language in Afghanistan. Don't you think we could write a petition to the UN and highlight this cultural atrocity?

This report ticked me off too but you have to analyze it and this issue is for our own benefit. These policies will provoke more Tajiks and Persian speakers and this shows Afghan Mellatis are working faster than ever which means their time in power is coming to an end.

I hope this Wazir Kharhang (Mr.Kharrum) does more stupid stuff like this.

It may also be that Tajiks rejected overtures from Iran, 20-25 years ago, and so the only group that was willing to get involved with Iran was the Hazaras, due to being twice oppressed, religiously and linguistically, and had no one else to turn to. I think Iran always likes to have more allies, so why should they have not wanted to help their Tajik brothers ? Did Iran not help the northern alliance and Ahmad Shah Masoud ? The strongest support to Ahmad Shah Massoud came from Iran (through Russia) and India.

I published the news in English too:

http://tajikistanweb...sianafghan.html

Spread this story throughout the world and let everybody know what's happening in Afghanistan. In sociological terminology it is called 'cultural genocide'.

Brother Gul Agha, nothing will provoke we stupid tajiks, take my word. Our ahmaq leaders are sitting and doing nothing, if they take the lead the public will probably do something.

Brother Doodoli, in the very begining it was Iran who was supporting Hazaras against Tajiks(mainly A.S.Masoud), ironically both persian speaking. and they started to help Masoud just after the emergence of the Taliban, the iranian gov had come to a conclusion to help Masoud in order to defeat the Taliban. if it wasnt for the taliban, god knows if they had helped masoud.
