One is in Persian which is updated frequently and the other is in Persian (Cyrillic). Additionally, the English page is still running and has a vast amount of information on Tajiks and Persians.

There have been some lame Nowroz parties/events in the past but they have been so poorly organised. they're also not very traditional which kinda defeats the whole purpose of a Nowroz celebration.

oh, got it now. but even if it is celebrated in household levels is good, as long as it is done properly. last Nawrooz we cooked samanak, sadly i did most of the work.

i thought you knew it. it is a kind of dish famous in the southern areas of afghanistan especially in khost and paktia. i havent eaten it, only heard of it.
