Posted 21 Oct 2011It is who you believe you are? It will either be false or true!
If anything, you belong to that heritage so you either you accept it or reject it.
Posted 26 Apr 2011I am rather surprised that they didnt kill them; perhaps they wanted them to carry back "the message".
Even then, they could have killed all but one.
It might also have had something to do with the "connections" between the Irani government and the Taliban.
Anyways, loosers can't be choosers. They cant hide in caves and then try to dictate how the country should or shouldnt be run.
I dont take this opposition to the contruction of this road as evidence for some sort of talib anti-iranian agenda; talbis seem to be against all development
Why kill innocent people who are trying to better the conditions of a country?
It does make clear that Talib want to keep the country ignorant and continue with their mission of destroying institutions and keeping people in the Dark Ages!
Posted 26 Apr 2011That is a lie
There is, without a doubt, a militant side to Jihad
why should we fit a mold created by post-"enlightenment" westerners?
PS. I suppose your username refers to "Sher-e-Panjab" (Ranjit Singh).
Am I correct?
Regarding jihad, each has to make his own decision. It is not right to declare jihad and kill innocent women and children in the process. This is not "submission" and can never be!
Username has no reference to Ranjit Singh. Just a reminder to me of jihad against the invader by Ahmad Shah Massoud!
Posted 10 Apr 2011Personally Tajiki by itself does seem to associate with Tajikistan so it is understandable people would have that connotation or understanding. Teaching Iranians abou this should be seen as positive keeping in mind that Azeri influence is strong enough that outsiders of Iran would not be knowledgeable on this point also that many of the mullahs have an Azeri background!!! There is ignorance on both sides so teaching is a good step to misunderstanding!
Posted 10 Apr 2011Dear Parsi and Qizilbash, If the present ANA was something like Shori Nezar of Ahmad Shah Masould and army of Ismail Khan(especially Masoud's forces), then yes i would have agreed with you 200%. They were credible, battle tested, powerful, had a vision and direction etc. But what about ANA? a drug adicted army, high desertion rate, no motivation, no proper discipline, they cant even function without ISAF/NATO, if they(isaf and nato)withdraw ,the taliban will take over from them, in such a situation it is best for us to leave it, let the pashtons kill each other.
There is some truth to your assertion only because of the high infiltration rate of Talib sympathizers and the distrust of ISAF/NATO towards the ANA. As Parsistani has noted, access to training, weaponry and tactics are positive for Tajik who seek to defend themselves against illegal rule, regardless of the source.
