thank you for the welcome, hope your doing well.
well to be honest I am surprised to see that the islamic government allows this, the iranians I have met complain about the mullahs and the eradication of their culture. The always complain how they aren't allowed to express their culture and instead have to celebrate the culture of 7th century Arabia. its quite nice to see actually the traditional side of things in Iran, I know Tehranis are a bit full of themselves so its surprising to hear this music sells well. I used to work with couple of tehrani, shirazi and rashtis. tehranis always used to crack jokes about others. its the same everywhere though, city people think they are too sophisticated and above rural people.
I quite like the khurasani music and bandari music of Iran. This accent is a little harder to undrestand being from Afghanistan but I am sure i will get used to it. thx for posting. -

Could be just propaganda of the Taliban? They lost already OBL and if they lose Mullah Omar their moral would sink.
I am sure if ISI killed Omar then they would make a big deal out of it and they will want money from their masters America for killing Omar. The fact is that pakistan is playing a double game, they want to use Taliban for their strategic depth in Afghanistan but they don't want Taliban in their country which can challenge their authority. So pakistan army kills some Taliban which are against pakistan for american dollars and protects some Taliban which are in pakistan's intrest. Some Taliban realize their double game and are bombing army bases just like they did in karachi and many other bases in Rawalpindi and pakhtunkhwa.
Mullah Omar is not the mahdi, if he is killed he will be replaced by others. some Taliban might lose moral but a younger leader might give them more energy and drive. -

Are you agree that it would be better for non-Pashtuns to apart themself from Pashtuns? Pashtuns are the cause why Pakistan has rooted in Afghanistan.
I don't know if it will be better. maybe it will maybe not. Its for Tajiks themselve to decide. Maybe there can be a refferendum and people vote to decide what they want. It should be free and fair and no warlords should pressurize the peopple to vote one way or another. I hope this vote took place during the time of Zahir Shah when there was a little peace, now everywhere they is insecurity and also foreign troops.
Its true that certain groups of pashtun are backed by pakistan but to say pakistan is friend of pashtuns is flase. look at the way they bomb the people of waziristan and allowed Taliban to rule Swat. They also killed many tribal elders who didn't support Taliban. They also killed Najib and I have no doubt they had something to do with the killing of Massoud.
If seperating from pashtuns make Tajiks happy and advanced then I support them in their quest. its better to divorce then live in unhappy marriage. As I have said many times before I am not an Afghan nationalist, I want the best for Tajiks, pashtun, hazara and uzbeks. -

Its not correct. Zabiullah Mujahid the talib spokesman denied it and later other sources couldn't find any evidence as well. he is somewhere in pakistan drinking tea. -

making Durand line permanent will not have much effect on pakistan, pakistan wants to control Afghanistan and make it its fifth province and they want to make it their sphere of influence so in case of war with India it can rely on Afghanistan. making Afghanistan weak and neutral also insures that Pakistan wants to concentrate its efforts on the eastern border with India. Thats why Pakistan always opposes ANA and other India friendly regimes in Afghanistan. I wish they sign the Durand Line treaty just to see what excuse pakistan will have for its interference after that. i am sure they will find another excuse.
