A library named after the Iranian epic poet Ferdowsi has been inaugurated in Albania as part of worldwide ceremonies marking the millennial anniversary of Shahnameh.

The library, located in southern Albanian city of Berat, was launched on Sunday, IRNA reported.

Shahnameh has been translated into Albanian by a noted scholar of the country, Vajih Bokharaei.
